Tracking Inventory
Effective Inventory tracking requires just a few key pieces of information. When you create or update a piece of inventory in Minicastle, take advantage of the following data points:
- Name
- Brand / Model
- Category (like Appliance, Equipment, Supplies, etc.)
- Details like:
- Purchase Date and Price
- Warranty Information
- Serial Numbers
- Quantities, Units, and Prices
- Location: Specify where each item is located in your home for easy retrieval. For Inventory like Paint or Supplies, you can even specify where it's used.
- Photos: Upload photos of your items for visual reference and documentation.
- Links: Upload files like receipts, manuals, and warranties to your favorite storage service, then link directly inside of your Inventory.
